We're not a national testing megacorp. We're a team of deeply experienced RF engineers and scientists, local to Albuquerque, with national laboratory-grade rigor and startup speed.
With nearly 17 years of RF experience each, our co-founders bring over 34 combined years of real-world expertise at the national laboratory and defense industry level — directly applied to your program.
We develop automated test systems in LabVIEW, Python, and MATLAB — giving you flexibility that most independent labs simply cannot offer. Your ATS is built in the language your team already uses.
From RF circuit design and PCB layout through FPGA development and automated test — we cover the full product lifecycle. One trusted partner from design through qualification.
Albuquerque companies no longer need to ship hardware out of state for RF support. We're local, accessible, and invested in the success of New Mexico's technology ecosystem.
From defense primes to quantum startups, we serve the full spectrum of RF-intensive industries across Albuquerque and the Southwest.

Mrs. Cassie Dennise Gutierrez was born in El Paso, Texas in 1986. She received her B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2010, followed by her Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, also from UTEP, in 2012. Her graduate research focused on computational electromagnetics and configurable additive manufacturing electronics. Her thesis, "Three Dimensional Structural Electronic Integration for Small Satellite Fabrication," reflects deep expertise at the intersection of advanced manufacturing and electrical systems design — directly applicable to the aerospace and defense sectors Quantum RF Testing serves.
Mr. Jonathan Michael Gutierrez was born in El Paso, Texas in 1985. He received his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2009, and his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2011. Through a prestigious national laboratory Master's Fellowship Program, he joined a leading federal defense research institution's RF & Opto Microsystems group, where he currently serves as a Principal Member of the Technical Staff. With nearly 17 years in the field, his expertise spans RF and Microwave component and system design from concept to production, DC to Ka-Band, including Ku-Band Radar systems, FPGA design, CST Microwave Studio modeling, Altium RF layout, Maury Load Pull characterization, and Python and MATLAB test bench development.
Mr. Tyler J. Wortman was born in Tucson, Arizona and raised in the East Mountains of New Mexico. He holds an A.A.S. in Computer Drafting and Design from ITT Technical Institute and an RF/Wireless Engineering Certification from Besser Associates. Tyler began his RF career at L-3 Communications in Salt Lake City, supporting high-performance intelligence and data link systems. He subsequently joined a leading national defense research institution as a Microelectronic and Semiconductor Technologist, where he has spent nearly 17 years building complex LabVIEW and MATLAB automated test sequences, designing RF and field test benches including radiation testing environments, and performing full device characterization across advanced microwave frequencies. He also serves as Lab Manager overseeing calibration, maintenance, and safety compliance.
Quantum RF Testing LLC was founded by three Albuquerque-based professionals with deep roots in government defense research and RF systems engineering. We created this company because New Mexico's growing technology ecosystem — including Kirtland AFB, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and an expanding quantum computing cluster — deserves a world-class local RF testing and design partner.
With nearly 17 years of RF experience each, our co-founders bring over 34 combined years of real-world expertise — backed by two Electrical Engineering degrees including a Master's from Texas A&M, and automated test system development capability across LabVIEW, Python, and MATLAB. We deliver the precision of a national laboratory with the responsiveness of a locally-owned independent shop.
Quantum RF Testing LLC is a certified Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), providing access to federal set-aside contracts and demonstrating our commitment to diverse and inclusive leadership in the defense and technology sector.
Our founders bring direct experience from leading national defense research institutions. That rigor, precision, and compliance discipline — developed at the highest levels of government science — is embedded in everything we deliver.
